Biography

Rochelle Logan retired in 2015 from Douglas County Libraries, Colorado (DCL) where she served as Associate Director of Support Services. In her role at DCL, she oversaw management of Collection Services, Bibliographic Services, Literacy and the Douglas County History Research Center. She was also the resident ‘data geek’ at the library.

Rochelle’s previous work as Associate Director of the Library Research Service at the Colorado State Library prepared her for a lifelong interest in library research and statistics. She currently serves on the PLA Project Outcome Taskforce where she is helping design, test and implement tools for outcome measurement for libraries across the country. Rochelle has an MLS from the University of Denver and a BBA from Texas Tech University.

Logan spent many years serving on Colorado Association of Libraries committees and was the President of CAL in 2010. Her work on national level research committees includes PLA Research and Statistics, and the Public Library Data Service. She was chair of the ALA Committee on Research and Statistics in 2007-08.

Rochelle is now a library consultant specializing in training, outcome-based evaluation, survey administration, data analysis, and collection development.
