Biography
Sharon’s areas of practice and research are grounded in community inquiry and play pedagogies, participatory evaluation and assessment, and social impact measurements in public libraries. As a former youth services librarian, high school librarian, library administrator, and evaluator in formal and informal learning environments in STEaM, she applies folkloristic methods in her work. She teaches Storytelling, Data Storytelling, Information Organization and Access, and has served as a founding contributor of the Public Library Data Alliance (PLDA) initiative as an outgrowth of the IMLS-funded “Measures that Matter” initiative.
