Jessica Gagnon is the Library Data Analyst for the City of Hillsboro in Oregon. She has well over a decade of experience with research and analytics and is particularly skilled with Tableau and data cleaning. She has implemented a robust data management system at the Library Department in Hillsboro and has presented on the topic at PLA. Jessica has a PhD in computational biophysics from the University of Michigan and transitioned into a career in local government following her values of serving her community. She is passionate about making data more intuitive and accessible and leveraging visualization and data storytelling to inform decisions.
