Biography
Andrea Copeland is an Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing (IUPUI), and the chair of the Department of Library and Information Science. Her research focus is public libraries and their relationship with communities. Her research centers on connecting the cultural outputs of individuals and community groups to a sustainable preservation infrastructure. She is the co-editor of Participatory Heritage, which explores ways that people participate in cultural heritage activities outside of formal institutions.
