Evaluation is a key component of the strategic planning and implementation process: evaluation reveals whether we are achieving our strategic goals. This session will focus on taking ownership of your organization’s strategic process by aligning stated goals with the library’s program and service activities and then evaluating those activities to determine if our work is producing the outcomes and impact we intend. Participants will examine their library’s strategic plan to identify the connections between strategic goals and the programs and services we design and deliver. Then, we use the Logic Model to inform what activities to evaluate and discover whether our activities are producing outcomes that are consistent with organizational strategy.
