Breakout: Data Librarian Unconference
Do you have a job title such as “Data Analyst,” “Statistics Librarian,” “Data Coordinator,” etc.? Is a central part of your job working with statistics and/or evaluating library services? In this session, you will have the opportunity to discuss best practices as well as the challenges and opportunities that come with these roles with participants who are working in similar positions.
Unlike a traditional breakout session, this unconference session will be participant-led. Attendees will have the opportunity to set the agenda and determine small group discussion topics. RIPL staff will be available to help organize and facilitate the session. Come to the session ready to connect with your peers and talk about your burning questions, lessons learned, and ideas you hope to implement in your library.
