Joe Ryan

Joe Ryan is the Head of the Center for Statistics and Visualization at the University of Denver. At DU, he focuses on building interactive visualization tools with the goal of translating the outputs of scholarly research for consumption by the general public. With his background in software development and academic research, Joe serves as a guide and a leader for scholars at DU who are interested in leveraging the powers of visualization in their own work. Joe develops custom visualization applications using a host of contemporary web technologies and visualization tools, like d3.js, Mapbox, and others. Joe also provides visualization development and mentoring skills for Tableau Desktop.
