Hello Everyone!

I am Carlyn Amber Garcia. I am the Librarian/Activities Coordinator at the Pueblo of San Felipe Community Library.
I am expecting my first baby in December, so right now I am reading a lot of Dr. Seuss & other children's books. But I love to read romance novels.

I am looking forward to this conference, I just hope the weather is nice. I live in the dry desert, so I'm not looking forward to the humidity. Smile
Hi, I'm Donna Brumby, Assistant Director for Organizational Development for the Athens Regional Library System. Our System covers five counties in northeast Georgia: Athens-Clarke, Franklin, Madison, Oconee, and Oglethorpe and serves a diverse population of around 232,000 residents. Some of our counties are very rural, and our headquarters has a more urban experience in Athens, GA, the home of the University of Georgia. I've been with ARLS for 11 years in various capacities. I’m looking forward to learning and sharing at RIPL, hoping to glean new methods and tools to use as ARLS begins a new strategic planning initiative at the beginning of CY19. See you all in Atlanta!
Hi everyone, I'm Megan Hammond and I'm the Online Engagement Librarian with the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records. I'm new to RIPL, but I'm counting on this conference to help me develop a new strategic plan for our Research Library. Looking forward to meeting you all in Atlanta.
Hello! I'm Kathy Kosinski. I am the Statewide Library Services Analyst for the Library of Michigan. I've heard only the best things about RIPL and am very excited.
Hi, I'm Jennifer Wright, Director of Training at the Spartanburg County Public Libraries in South Carolina. This is my first time at RIPL and I'm looking forward to learning a lot of new information.
Hi Everyone! My name is Sara Donegan and I am the Library Director at Carpenter-Carse Library in Hinesburg, VT (Population ~4500). I've been a library director for just over a year now, and am looking forward to adding more tools to my librarian toolbelt at RIPL. I'm a first-timer!

In my spare time I am a farmer (my husband and I run a veggie and beef farm). I love spending time outdoors, particularly mountain biking, and with my 6-yo daughter.

I look forward to meeting you all.
Hello, everyone.  My name is Maureen Brodar, and I'm Deputy Director at Shaker Heights (OH) Public Library.  Looking forward to seeing you all in Atlanta.
Hi everyone!

My name is Priscilla Resendiz. I work in Adult Reference with a focus on Young Adult Services at the Waukegan Public Library in Waukegan, Illinois--a Chicago suburb near Wisconsin. As my library didn't have YA services, I've been working to build a service model from scratch for the past three-ish years so I'm looking forward to learning all I can at RIPL to improve what we've got.

In the spaces between my odd library hours I volunteer with the local high school, go to kendo practice (but not nearly enough), and watch way too much Star Trek.
Hi everyone!

I'm Rebecca Teasdale, Senior Evaluation and Research Associated at Garibay Group in Chicago. I'll be an instructor at RIPL and am looking forward to meeting everyone and learning about your work!
Hi all,

I'm Zeth Lietzau, and I'll be a RIPL Instructor and Facilitator for the third time this conference. I'm Director of Central, Collections, Technology, and Strategy at the Denver Public Library. I look forward to meeting you all.
