Lisa Fraser

As Organizational Performance Project Manager at King County Library System, Lisa Fraser is responsible for building alignment with organizational goals; developing staff capacity in planning, measurement, and evaluation; collecting and analyzing data to inform strategic decision-making; and managing large-scale change initiatives. She holds an MLIS from University of Washington and a Master’s in International Administration from the School for International Training in Vermont. Prior to becoming a librarian in 2004, Lisa worked in higher education, government, and private industry. She has taught Public Library Advocacy and Library Marketing at the University of Washington Information School, and has edited and contributed to several professional publications. Lisa believes in the power of a well-crafted story to help public libraries and their communities understand and support each other.
