Joe Ryan

Joe Ryan is Director, IT Operations at EDUCAUSE, a nonprofit focused on helping higher education elevate the impact of IT. Joe’s career has focused on library technology, with positions at The University of Wisconsin-Madison, North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, The University of Denver, and the University of Colorado-Denver. He has run programs at multiple universities focused on helping researchers unlock the secrets within their data, including serving as Head of the University of Denver’s Center for Statistics and Visualization. He collects and restores old pinball machines in his spare time.
